Zhang Ping Shui Xian – 2025 (10g)

From Zhongcun, Shuangyang, Zhangping — the birthplace of Zhangping Shuixian. Surrounded by mountains and valleys, crossed by clear streams and nourished by mountain mist, this region has a tea-making history spanning more than a century. Its tea has historically won a Gold Medal at the Panama-Pacific International Exposition. Zhangping Shuixian is also renowned as the only oolong tea traditionally produced in the form of a compressed square cake.

Four days of gentle charcoal roasting, using a medium-level roasting process, slowly nurture the fragrance while keeping the roast warm and mellow rather than dry or aggressive.

The dry cake is neat and compact, with a rich orchid fragrance. The liquor is golden and luminous, with a full, mellow and supple texture. The characteristic ethereal orchid character of Shuixian unfolds beautifully in the cup, followed by a long-lasting sweetness.
